First Class Charters
Lake Mead Scuba Charters operates two boats that can carry a total of 20 divers. Scuba One is a United States Coast Guard documented vessel and is certified to can carry 17 divers. However, we will only sell 14 of the available seats leaving lots of room for the 14 divers to move around the boat more easily

Scuba Two is a 6-pac and will, with no trouble, accommodate a captain, Dive Master and 6 divers.

Also, both boats are also equipped with cellular telephones, marine radios, and two-way radios so we can be in constant communication with our base, the park rangers, or EMS if necessary. Each of our two boats are equipped with state-of-the-art first aid and O2 kits, with at least one of the crew on each boat qualified to provide O2 or perform first aid, should either become necessary. Regardless of your diving experience, our boats are extremely easy to dive from. Even the most novice of divers find it easy to get in and out of the water from our boats with little or no assistance.

With the extreme variety of diving that we have available in Lake Mead, Lake Mojave and the Colorado River, we are constantly moving our boats around. During our season, from mid-spring to late fall, we move Scuba Two down to Lake Mojave to increase the diversity of sites available in the local area. Lake Mojave has different dive sites to enjoy than Lake Mead. Also this is how we are able to dive the Colorado River. ONLY from Memorial Day to Labor Day are we able to get divers up the Colorado River to the base of Hoover Dam to do an absolutely breathtaking drift dive! After Labor Day we move Scuba Two back to join Scuba One in Lake Mead to handle all of our winter divers. Those who have dived here before understand that the best diving in our area is from November to March. Yes, it is colder, however the visibility can more than double!

Charter fees must be paid in full before boarding the boat.
All divers must show certification cards and sign all appropriate forms and waivers at check in.
Check in and departure times depend on diving and weather conditions and are not negotiable.
Cancellations made within 24 hours will result in forfeiture of deposit.
Lake Mead Scuba Charters is not responsible for transportation to and from boat departure areas.
Minimum of 3 passengers required for each charter.
All deep dives require an advanced scuba certification.
All drift dives require an advanced certification.
